Barktoberfest

We are very excited to be part of this year’s Barktoberfest Walk for the Animals. Rohrbachs will host the beer garden tent after the walk, which is of course pet-friendly.

This event is a great way to give back to Lollypop Farm. Bring your dog, have a beer, and be part of a walk towards better lives for our canine friends! Be part of the march to make lives better by signing up for our 1.5-mile walk around Lollypop Farm. Fundraise on behalf of the pets to help even more homeless and abused animals. Whether you champion alone or form a Tail Waggin' Team with friends, family, co-workers, and other animal lovers, what you raise will make a huge difference in both the lives of animals and humans alike!

Mikaela Davis: Road to Borderland

Screen Shot 2019-08-22 at 2.09.53 PM.png

As part of the Road to Borderland event series, Mikaela Davis will take the beer hall stage in celebration of the Borderland Music Festival 2019.

The Borderland Music Festival team will be there for ticket giveaways and merch sales! The Borderland Music Festival will take place Saturday September 21, featuring an incredible line-up and many local breweries, including Rohrbachs.

About Mikaela:
Mikaela’s unconventional path the working songwriter began before high school, growing up in Rochester. With plans to join a symphony, she studied harp performance at Crane School of Music, but halfway through, she decided the traditional harpist’s path wasn’t for her. Following graduation, Mikaela moved to Brooklyn, following in the footsteps of artists who’ve come before her. But in the city, she could never quite find her footing. She kept busy, toured, and recorded an album that would eventually be shelved. Feeling confused and alone, she retreated back to Rochester, unsure of her next move. Rochester’s artistic community embraced her, encouraged by bandmates including Alex Cote and the group Joywave, she hit her stride. Rochester became Mikaela’s sanctuary. Mikaela now tours her latest album across the world.

Live Load Release: Hop Drop 2.0 Hazy IPA

HopDropCover.gif

Friday, July 26 • all-day event

We’re doing another live load Friday, July 26! A live load means that the beer is packaged the very same morning it’s delivered to stores and put on the shelves. It’s the freshest beer you can possibly get.

Hop Drop 2.0 Hazy IPA is our second fresh release, but it’s the very first time we’re canning a New England-style IPA. The recipe is based off a recent small-batch brew, Ida-Who NEIPA. This beer got such a great response from you all that we decided it was the perfect beer to package for our Hop Drop Series. NEIPA’s are meant to be fresh, and it doesn’t get any fresher than this.

Hop Drop 2.0 Hazy IPA lands with a pillowy soft mouthfeel thanks to loads of Flaked Oats in the mash. With the vast majority of the Idaho 7, Azacca, and Citra hops added post-boil and in 2 hefty dry-hop additions, the bitterness is subdued but hop flavors and aromas of citrus, mango, and pineapple abound. 6.7%ABV | 36 IBU

Below is a list of stores getting 16oz 4-packs of this fresh release. Catch the Rohrbach crew at various locations doing samplings and stocking shelves!
