Oktoberfest Roc 2022

  • Rohrbach Beer Hall & Brewery 97 Railroad Street Rochester, NY, 14609 United States (map)

Rohrbach Brewing Co. is bringing Oktoberfest back to downtown!

Oktoberfest is a tribute to the authentic, German-style lager served around the world during autumn. Brewed with vasts amounts of Vienna and Munich malts, balanced with the bitterness of German noble hops, fermented with a lager yeast strain, and lagered for over a month, Oktoberfest is full-bodied and packed full of flavor.

Infinite Hold is a kettle-soured Berliner Weisse that was brewed with a hefty percentage of German wheat malt for a smooth mouthfeel, then kettle-soured for a pleasant tartness. The beer was then conditioned on Tangerine and Blackberry, resulting in a tart, fruity, and refreshing finish.

Cellar Dweller is our take on a classic German style, a young and unfiltered dark lager. Brewed with a variety of German speciality malts, it carriers malty notes of toasted bread, caramel, and a hint of dark roast. German noble hops impart slight floral and spicy characteristics.

Helles Lager is a classic German lager brewed with Pilsen and Vienna malts for a crisp bready malt backbone and hopped with German Hallertau Mittelfruh hops for a slightly floral aroma. Crisp, light, and refreshing!

Festbier is our take on the newer style of beer that is served in Munich’s beer tents today for Oktoberfest. While Marzens (like our Oktoberfest) are historically the official beer style of Oktoberfest, the beers served today tend to be a bit lighter. Our Fesbier pours a golden hue. It was mashed with German Pilsen, Vienna, and Munich malts for just enough bready malt backbone, then boiled with German Tettnang hops for subtle herbal characteristics. Festbier finishes with a lot of flavor, but is a bit more sessionable than its Marzen big brother!

Break out the lederhosen and save the date.
