Rohrbach's Flagship Ales & Lager
Some beers are to good to have an off season. We call them our Flagship Beers. From European recipes to fine ingredients to their characteristically smooth, unique Rohrbach’s flavor, these beers are always on tap because they’ve always been favorites of yours.
SCOTCH ALE
Scotch Ale is a strong, full-bodied ale with a sweet caramel flavor, and a high alcohol content. This beer is much stronger than it tastes, but goes down smooth. 7.0% ABV.
HIGHLAND LAGER
Highland Lager is a Vienna Lager. Named for the city it was originally brewed in, Highland Lager uses Munich, Vienna, and wheat malts to give the beer a subtle, toasty flavor. Crisp, clean, and well balanced with German hops, Highland is a definitive session beer. 5.0% ABV.
BLUEBERRY ALE
A fruit beer that uses blueberry flavoring, this beer is subtle in fruit flavor — not overwhelming like most on the market. Since the base style is a blonde ale, our Blueberry is crisp and clean with a noticeable hop presence. Extremely refreshing on hot summer days. 4.5% ABV.
VANILLA PORTER
Vanilla Porter is a complex English-style porter that’s brewed with a wide variety of specialty malts — like chocolate malt, caramel malt, black malt, and roasted barley. Authentic vanilla extract is added after fermentation giving the beer another layer of complexity. Rich, full-bodied, and dark as night, Vanilla Porter is a customer favorite. 6.5% ABV.
KÖLSCH
First brewed in Köln, Germany, Kölsch is a bit of a hybrid beer. Though considered an ale, it can be lagered or conditioned for a longer period of time to help make the beer crisp and dry. This Kölsch is brewed with a small amount of wheat to give the beer more body, and hopped with authentic German hops.

RAILROAD STREET IPA
Our version of an India Pale Ale, Railroad Street Ale has a sinuous, malty body backed by an overload of citrusy hops. Brewed at our commercial brewery on Railroad Street in downtown Rochester, this beer used to go under the name “Stock Ale.” 6.5% ABV.
FLAHERTY’S IRISH ALE
Specially brewed for Flaherty’s Three Flags Inn, this ale leans toward the qualities of a blonde ale, as opposed to an authentic Irish ale. Flaherty’s is completely inoffensive to the drinker, with flavors of light grain and crisp American hops. A good beer to start the night off with. 4.5% ABV
NEXT DOOR ALE
Brewed for Wegmans Next Door Bar & Grill, this ale shares characteristics from both the Oktoberfest and the Kölsch. With the majority of malts being Munich and Vienna (from the Oktoberfest recipe), the beer is balanced with German-style hops (from the Kölsch recipe). The result: a golden-hued ale with flavors of toasted malt and a faint floral essence making it inoffensive and widely accessible. 5.5% ABV.
